Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro Launched with backlit keyboard

Launched with the backlit keyboards are Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro! You will be surprised to know the feature: Today at the ‘Mi Smart Living 2022‘ event, Xiaomi launched two new laptops in their Mi NoteBook series, the Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi Notebook Pro.

Earlier this month, Xiaomi India Chief Business Officer Raghu Reddy confirmed the arrival of the next generation laptop in a tweet. Powered by MI Notebook Ultra and MI Notebook Pro, Intel Irish XE Graphics, and 11th generation Intel Core processors. The 15.6-inch Notebook Ultra and the 14-inch Notebook Pro feature a display panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. After all, they have a backlit keyboard. The ‘Slim and Light’ design laptops will be available with two, a single color variant, and multiple configurations.

Mi Notebook Ultra, Mi NoteBook Pro Price and Availability

The MI Notebook Ultra and MI Notebook Pro both come with laptops, the 11th generation Intel Core i5-11300H (clock rate: 4.4 GHz) and Core i7-11370H (clock rate: 4.8 GHz). In that case, the base variant of MI Notebook Ultra Laptop – Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM is priced at Rs 59,999. The Core i5 processor and 16GB RAM variant will be available for Rs 63,999, and the Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM variant will be available for Rs 76,999.

Meanwhile, the base model of the MI Notebook Pro laptop with a Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM is priced at Rs 56,999. The Core i5 processor and 16GB RAM variant, and the Core i7 and 16GB RAM variants are priced at Rs 59,999 and Rs 72,999 respectively.

In India, the laptops, which come with Lastras Gray color, will be available on August 31 from the company’s official website (Mi.com), MI Home Store, Amazon, and retail outlets. As a sale offer, any laptop with a Core i7 processor using an HDFC Bank credit card will get an instant discount of up to Rs 4,500. And, in the case of the Core i5 processor variant, it is off to Rs 3,500.

Mi Notebook Ultra Specification

MI Notebook Ultra Laptop Body Structure, Made by Series ৬ Aluminum. Powered by Windows 10 Home OS, the device has a 15.6-inch (3,200×2,000 pixels) MI-TrueLife Plus display. This display supports an 18:10 aspect ratio, 90 Hz refresh rate, screen brightness up to 300 nits, 100% sRGB coverage, 89% screen-to-body ratio, and DC dimming feature. Plus, it comes with TUV Reynolds Low Blue Light certification to keep users’ i-site in mind. There is an HD webcam on the top of the display of this laptop. The MI notebook Ultra laptop has an Intel Core i7-11370H CPU with Intel Iris XE graphics. As for storage, up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of NVMe SSD at a 3,200 MHz clock rate.

In the case of sound systems, there are two 2-watt audio speakers with DTS audio processing support. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button of the device for security. Also available is a backlit Caesar-style keyboard with three-level brightness and a 1.5mm key-travel. According to Xiaomi, its trackpad is 72% larger than previous notebooks and supports Windows gestures. Incidentally, MI launched this first laptop with a backlit keyboard in India.

The connectivity options of the MI Notebook Ultra include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.1, a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI port, USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For power backup, there is a 70 Whr capacity battery, which will offer up to 12 hours of continuous battery life. And to charge the device, a 65 watt USB Type-C charger has been provided in the retail box. The laptop is 17.9 mm thick and weighs 1.7 kg.

Mi Notebook Pro Specification

The Mi Notebook Pro laptop features a 14-inch 2.5K (2,560×1,600 pixels) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, screen brightness up to 300 nits, 100% sRGB coverage, and DC dimming technology. Like the Notebook Ultra, it is also TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certified. MI’s new laptop will run on 11th generation Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Irish XE graphics. And as storage, it will have up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. The audio front and connectivity options of the MI Notebook Pro are similar to those of the Notebook Ultra laptop. For power backup, it has a 56Whr capacity battery, which will offer up to 11 hours of continuous battery life. Mi Notebook Pro is 17.3 mm thick and weighs 1.4 kg.
